Pricing covers our preparation work. The IRCC government processing fee for proof of citizenship is $75 CAD per applicant, paid separately to the Receiver General for Canada when you mail your package.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a law firm?: No. arryv is built by a Canadian-trained lawyer but we don't practice law — we prepare paperwork. If your case is unusual or you want legal advice, hire a Canadian immigration lawyer or RCIC.
Do I need a Canadian lawyer to file CIT 0001?: No. CIT 0001 is the standard self-filing application for proof of Canadian citizenship. Most applicants mail it themselves. Our job is making sure it's complete, correct, and persuasively documented so IRCC doesn't come back with questions.
Can I submit the application online?: Not currently. CIT 0001 is paper-only — you print, sign in black ink, and mail to the IRCC processing centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia. We include mailing instructions and your return address pre-formatted.
How long does IRCC take to process?: The published service standard is 9-12 months. Bill C-3 introduced a wave of new applicants, so expect the higher end of that range. You'll get an acknowledgement letter from IRCC within ~6 weeks of mailing.
What if my case is non-modal — great-grandparent claim, born before 1977, post-Dec-15-2025 baby?: v1 of arryv covers the modal Bill C-3 case (adult born 1977-2025 with a Canadian-born grandparent on the chain). If our eligibility quiz tells you you're outside that path, we won't take your money — and we'll suggest a Canadian immigration lawyer who can help.
What's your refund policy?: We don't refund completed work. You get up to 10 regenerations to refine your package, so there's room to iterate. If our pipeline fails technically (we can't produce a PDF), we refund. If you change your mind about applying, we don't.
Is my data safe?: Documents you upload are encrypted at rest in Supabase Storage with per-user row-level security — only you and our generation pipeline can see them. We don't share data with third parties beyond what's needed to generate your package (Anthropic for AI, Stripe for payment). We delete uploaded documents on request.
